Got this about a month ago but haven’t tried to use it until yesterday. Unfortunately the pin is stuck and can’t be pried free. I’m returning it for an exchange since it’s a factory defect, presumably.

While the drive worked well for a few months. It began to slow down (3 months in). As usual open file systems like JFS (IBM's Journaling File System) out performed vfat/ntfs and hfs/hfs+, however, regardless of FS the drive became slower as it went along. This problem was the same regardless of OS, GNU Linux (12 Distros) XP (best performance for MS) and Apple. Here it is and it's dead - days after the warranty expired. This has happened with SanDisk so often, I've had enough. I will NEVER buy another San Disk product again. They just don't last long enough to warrant the purchase. I have a cheap no name drives that out lasted and out performed Sandisk.

copying and pasting larger files or folders seems really tax this device. tried on multiple different laptops (Mac and Windows) and anything over a gig at a time kills this little guy. happened on both of the devices I bought.

Once I receive this flash drive I will be more than willing to rate the product.

The only reason I selected this particular flash drive was because it had a small hole so you can put it on a key chain. This would make it much harder to lose. I've had it 2 1/2 months and it broke today. Not good.

Great disk andnit saved everything from my old computer. Great price too!

Normally I really like SanDisk products, but for the price? The button is weak, it rattled immediately, and feels very cheap. Should have bought a different one.

This SanDisk flash drive is fast and I am happy with my purchase.

Worked great in storing all of my music, with 30GBs to spare.

128gb,,, well not really its only 117gb. better off getting a Samsung at least you get 119gb with it. also little iffy if using it with the Playstation classic.

The product is used to make DVR recordings. It works well.

As far as 3.0 USB devices go, this product can't be beat. I picked it up on sale for 1/3rd the full price, but usually see it on sale for 1/2 off. Even at that price you can't beat it. Use it as a backup for my most listened to music so I'm not constantly having to stream/kill my phone battery when in the car. Have also used it to take files to friends/family when on trips. Until 256gb units come down in price you might as well grab at least one or two of these...so many uses. Have considered grabbing another just for backing up photos/home movies to. It'd be the only physical device you would need for such a task to piggy back off of cloud storage.

I've tried them all and still like SanDisk the best.

I can't get this thing to plug into anything I own. I didn't try it until the return period had elapsed. I must have got a defective one.

This sandisk should be able to push and retract the usb connecting port that goes into your laptop or pc; however upon opening the item I’ve never been able to use it because I cannot push the usb portion out.. I’ve called Best Buy and they were unable to help, because I didn’t try using the sandisk until after two weeks after purchasing, bestbuy would not let me return the inoperable item. Highly annoyed!

This is a fast flash drive but the build quality is poor and the outer material is really flimsy plastic. The keyring hole broke in 1 week with minimal use.

I'm a fan of SanDisk and used their products for many years. That said, this particular one disappointed me.

Could not get the backup to work, then while transferrig files from another flash drive it suddenly deleted everything from this new drive including the software

Couldn't use it ! Needed a different one to transfer my photos from old phone to scan disk
