Excellent backup for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This has worked well so far. I have used it to create a second backup of a 64gb photo library. It copied everything faster than the usb2 backup did just last year (and library was about 51gb then)- I can't tell how much faster as I went back at the 90 minute mark and it was done. I can't comment on the longevity as of yet

This makes it very convenient to transfer large files between my computers quickly. Remember to enable performance mode in the device manager on Windows. If you don't, it will significantly lower the speed of the device.
