    I've had this disk for a few weeks now, and everything seems to be fine so far. I use it to do regular backups of my primary hard disk. So far, it has worked just as expected. I'm giving it only 3 stars (and not more) for the following reasons: 1. I've only had this for a few weeks. I can't comment on how long lasting this will be. I've had drives in the past that die after a few months of usage. That is what remains to be seen. If this thing goes past a year, I'll definitely give it 5 stars. 2. The drive works, but then that's what is expected of it. I won't give it more than 3 stars for just doing its job.

    Plenty of space for lots of files but I expected this USB 3 to be a little faster in transfer rates. It’s not too slow but it is not as fast as some of my other external storage devices
