    Bought this to do hard drive imaging. The first one wound not do a "full" NTFS format; LED would just blink. Second one(replacement); formatted fine.Somewhat faster than the USB2 drives. Excellent price for the performance/speed; purchased on sale with approx. 80% off regular retail price. Only useage will tell how durable these are.

    The SanDisk 128 GB USB 3.0 thumb drive stores data really fast from my new computer using the Windows 10 operating system and USB 3.0 ports. The thumb drive is also backward compatible with computers using USB 2.0 ports.

    I needed a large flash drive for making daily backups. This drive works as expected with write times similar to my old 64GB USB2.0 drive (~7MB/s). The read times are much faster with speeds of 120MB/s for files over 1MB.
