Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the Ultra 1TB Internal SSD SATA's performance boost, ample storage capacity for its price, and ease of installation. Many appreciate its affordability and quiet operation compared to traditional hard drives. While some users experienced compatibility issues with certain operating systems, the positive feedback on speed and ease of use outweighs these concerns. The smaller size of the SSD was also noted by some users.

I am very pleased with this SSD so far. Not only did I get a large storage increase over the stock drive in my old MacBook Pro, but I got an even larger performance boost. The SSD makes quite a noticeable difference in boot times and overall responsiveness. The read/write speed increase has helped the overall performance of my 7 year old laptop more than I expected. Also, since installing it, I haven't had any internal cooling fan errors. Not sure if that's due to the SSD's lack of heat-generating moving parts - or just the disassembly and mild dusting of the fans - but I'll take it! I have an external HDD case that I was able to use for the initial data cloning of my old drive which went flawlessly using a free cloning program. I know that some folks have commented on the lack of migration software included with the drive but I had no need for it with how I went about the setup. If you're in need of a new SSD with a good amount of storage and nice price point (especially on sale), I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this drive to you.

With the proper transfer and cloning tools, it is very quick and easy to copy your current hard drive onto the SSD. Then you simply install in your computer---also quick and easy as long as you normally do your own computer upgrades. Computer boots up in a few seconds. I find SSDs to be much better than standard hard drives, so in my opinion, it is worth making the upgrade.

    SANDISK SSD DRIVE

Replaced the old hard drive in my wife's laptop to speed up the boot time and overall performance. Had to google a few things because it had been years since I replaced a laptop in a computer but everything I needed to know was a quick internet search away. This one came with card with a site to download free cloning software that is only good if you bought a SANDISK or a WD drive. Thankfully I did this one first because the WD drive I bought didn't have the site in the materials it came with. You will need an external SATA drive reader but if you plan to upgrade multiple computers it is a great investment. Cloning was fairly simple and after it was complete I dropped the new drive in and it booted up just like the old drive only a whole lot faster. Didn't have to reinstall anything.

The main SATA hard drive in my older MacPro failed. I had gotten used to how slow my old Mac runs, compared to my newer MacBookPro. I still use the MacPro for video editing, though. I replaced the failed hard drive with the SanDisk 1TB Internal SATA SSD, and what a difference it makes. The computer boots up in a fraction of the time that it used to, and it makes far less noise because there is less heat, and consequently, less noise from the cooling fan, which I hardly ever hear anymore. I'm really happy with the SanDisk SSD, and it's a great value, too.

This SSD is fast as far as solid state drives go, at a good competitive price. I bought 2 of them, one for me and for my wife, and they perform excellent, and get good benchmark tests as well. This is an excellent choice if you want good performance at a good value for general work, photo and video editing; without breaking the bank. Probably not going to notice a huge performance gain with a Samsung EVO or other premium SSD with most computers, so save money and get this one unless you are an ultra gamer, and price is of no concern.

The MSI Laptop I purchased at Best Buy is a really good computer for my business use. I need lots of space and speed for my business use. This laptop actually has 3 hardrives (2 factory and 1 mine) and all of them are SSD. So I have all the space I need plus it is really fast. The Best Buy sales person was really helpful by gathering my needs in a laptop and narrowing it down to a couple of options so I could make my final decision. Everything was great about this purchase.

We needed to upgrade the drive in my son's gaming PC, and we were looking for an SSD drive that would give us the performance and extra storage space we needed, at a very competitive price. I'm glad to say that this drive delivered across the board. I've used SanDisk external drives before and I've always found that it's a great brand that won't let you down.

I purchased a 6 year old iMac from a coworker a few weeks ago knowing it needed a new hard drive. While it turned out for the better that the hard drive was fine after some diagnostics were performed, I knew my computer would need a speed boost to keep up with my demands. I contemplated processor and ram, however, these were not cost effective. I then decided to upgrade the standard drive to a SSD. These Sandisk drives are frequently on sale and quite a grab as compared to the Samsung equivalents. This SSD has given my iMac a dramatic speed boost. Where it used to boot up in about 45 seconds to a minute or more, it now does so within 10/15 seconds. Not to mention, this iMac now runs as quickly as those you'll find on display in the stores (at a fraction of the cost, tee-hee) In summary, this drive is an excellent option for speeding up your computer, at a great price! Makes my computer run like brand new!

Having used the Samsung 850 EVO since it's introduction, I was surprised to learn about the Ultra 3D SSD from SanDisk. After reading multiple reviews and studying benchmarks, I decided to grab a couple of these when they hit $219.99 a few weeks back. I'm very pleased with these! They perform on par with the 850 EVO, but were almost $100 cheaper at the time of purchase. They each are installed in a 2012 Mac mini - Core i7 2.6Ghz Quad, 16GB - running macOS High Sierra. They run like a dream!

I needed a bigger OS drive in my PC and BB had a sale on these. I couldn't pass up the deal. It performs as any SSD should, fast. I was able to clone my old drive and install this one in no time at all. I auto would recommend this drive for any PC you are looking to upgrade. It will definitely increase your speed and storage space for a reasonable price.

This SSD is perfect to upgrade your laptop or desktop that is running on a mechanical hard drive. Purchasing this with BB Total Tech support made this transition easy and cost effective. The boot up time and read/write time is great. This is my 2nd Samsung brand SSD, my first is still running from 2014 so needless to say it is steady and reliable.

This is a great SSD for your computer if you don't need the speed of NVME and are satisfied with SATA connectivity. Best is the price is right for this SSD and that once you put your OS on it, you don't have to worry about your computer getting jarred or bumped since there is no spinning parts.

PRO: super light, slight decrease overall weight of laptop PRO: super fast PRO: noiseless (just fan noise now) PRO: easy installation PRO: curbside pickup at BestBuy was very easy, they have it down to a science at the local store I go to CON: None to speak of. The price was right for me ($139) for a respected brand name. Prepping a laptop for a new disk can be a little time consuming, but that is not the fault of the drive itself. Placed into a 2016 Dell Inspiron 15 with an i5 chipset that was frustratingly slow even after wiping everything and starting over. On the other hand, cracking open a Dell laptop is very easy, just a screwdriver and maybe a stiff guitar pick to gently pry the keyboard off. Now the Dell simply blows away my main i7 Samsung laptop for speed and responsivelness, and the Samsung isn't slow. The Samsung has a spinning drive, but it's screen is far superior to the Dell Inspiron's, which could best be termed 'functional'.. So, you can guess the next upgrade to the Samsung...?

I used Sandisk for a few years now and have no problems with SSD drive. Works great and is affordable. You can download Acronis disk clone for free from website and use to clone existing HDD. SSD are way faster and lasts much longer if youre wondering. Also can be installed in desktops and laptops.

My laptop came with a 128 gig SSD and 1 TB hard drive. I used this SSD to replace that hard drive because it didn’t take much for the 128 gig SSD to fill up and I didn’t want to run online games off of a standard hard drive. Super happy with it. The speeds are great and my games all run super smooth.
