    Not quite as fast as i expected but most USB storage devices rarely are. Large file performance is much better than small file performance. Seems sturdy enough and the slide locks into place well when the connector is extended.

    Works very well. Was able to to backup all the files on my laptop in the event the laptop could not be used again. Was able to use on my older laptop until i got my primary laptop back from the Geek Squad.
