    This is an adequate storage medium for transferring files between systems. However, it is NOT compatible with all vehicle USB ports. Specifically, it is not recognized by my 2016 F-150. As such it is useless for music or podcasts.

    This an average USB 3.0 drive. The retracting plug can be a weak point because they go bad well before the electronics. I miss the most the activity light that can be important to see what's going on, specially when you are doing a long lasting operation.
