Good drive but encryption is lacking

I bought the drive because of the encryption to secure files when I carry the drive and thought that since this is SanDisk it would be well thought out. The encryption , San Disk Secure Access comes on the drive and it is a simple process to set up a password. When you do this you find out that this is the light version and for the full access version you need to buy the upgrade. I am reluctant to upgrade due to the poor workings of the light version such as transferring files. When I tried to transfer several word files by dragging them from the thumb drive back to the computer I found that I could only transfer one file at a time. This was very irritating and due to the process I missed file and it wasn't until later that I realized this. In my opinion they should give you a trial version of the full program instead of the limited light version.
