We thank you for taking out time to post this review and we appreciate your feedback. Please allow us to inform you that all the SanDisk® USB Drives are plug and play storage device. You can connect the drive to the computer and start transferring the data using drag and drop or copy/ paste method. You do not require any special driver, firmware update or software to use the drive on computer.

However I have had trouble inserting it into my computer occasionally. Also, I wish it slid ALL the way into the shell for more protection.

My husband had just passed and i needed copies of a another items so I could have them.

However the encryption is difficult to use and slows the input to a crawl if the file size is very large. Documentation or user instructions are not the greatest either.

I prefer smaller Flash drive. It won't hurt my Mother board when I unplug it. Overall, it's good for this price.

It just stopped working. I tried connecting it on various computers including PC and Apple. I don't know if I got a dud but I would not recommend
