Sliding the cover in and out is sometimes a minor nuisance, but it protects the drive and won't get separated from the drive and get misplaced.

The built in electronics is miles better than pny. It would take me 30 seconds for the PNY usb to recognize the files inside, which I was only carrying like under 1GB of doc files, and the San Disk drive recognize the drive in a second. Everything is waaaay much better with this drive. It’s super reliable and had no issues with this yet. 100% recommend.

I loaded 50 Gb of tax records and family pictures in less than 30 minutes from an older PC with USB 2.0. Everything was stored perfectly and it went right into my fireproof lockbox inside my safe. For the price, I may get another and put it in my safe deposit box at the bank.
