When my important files need the extra protection I use these. I know the cloud should never crash, and airplanes should never crash, but in an age of uncertainties why not spend a few dollars more for that extra protection?

The size of this flash drive has too much capacity to use as a recovery drive for my 1 Tb capacity laptop. Regardless, it still works fine and is a simple plug and play thumb drive for ordinary use.

Got the SanDisk on sale, so I sure can't complain. I needed to save photos and found that my other flash drives did not have enough space. The bonus feature is that this one is bright red, and that red makes it hard to misplace even on a messy desktop.
