Took all my photos off my old laptop & in stalled onto air nac

Don't expect to beat an equivalent size (or 2x) SSD in an external case for sustained large writes of many 100s of megabytes to 10s of gigabytes. That said, these drives in avoid some problems that external ( generally by putting them in a case) SSD drives have with many times being incorrectly identified as an internal drive & Windows Backup, etc. failing to work with them. Just realize these big sizes can mean a lot more time than copying some little random files.

This thumb drive does exactly what is was designed to do, move data from one system to another at a pretty good clip. I use it to store photos as a back-up for my computer. It's small. light weight, and stores easily. What more could you ask for!!

Use this for work have always use these and the always get better. Very reliable

Noticeably faster write speed than 3.0 drives. I wouldn't have thought 3.1 would be that different. Sure, others are faster, but this hits a great price vs capability trade-off.

Good usb for price lots of space on it. The speed of the 3.0 usb is crazy I was taking file for on my old laptop and moving them to my new one. It took 3hrs to move 20gb of data to the usb on my laptop and it took 34min to put it on new laptop with 3.0 usb connection

Stored about 10 videos and 1000 pictures on mine. I was changing computers an did not want to take any chances if something went really wrong while transferring data. I am not tech savvy.

Good flash drive, using daily for my files, just changed the format to NTFS

Worked great and allowed for me to save everything I needed before sending my device in for repair.

It's the brand and size I wanted. I chose red simply because it would be easy to locate in my drawer.

USB 3.0 transfer speeds make a HUGE difference moving files around. This is not my first SanDisk thumb drive. I have 5 now. ranging from 1-6 years old. All working just fine.
