Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the Ultra Fit 128GB USB 3.0 Type A Flash Drive's small size, large storage capacity, and ease of use, frequently citing it as a good value for the price. Many also highlight the fast transfer speeds enabled by the USB 3.0 interface. However, some users noted that the drive can get warm during use, and a few mentioned minor design concerns regarding the protective cap. Overall, the positive feedback on storage and speed outweighs the negative comments on heat and design.

    Physically broke after 10 uses

A physical data connection inside of the flash drive broke after maybe 10 uses. The drive also gets very hot while in use with little room for heat dissipation due to its small size. The few times it worked it was certainly fast, but I cannot recommend this for anyone who needs to retain any sort of data for any length of time. I will be RMAing the drive since I paid for it, but I will only use the replacement for non-critical data.

I bought this for Microsoft Surface. It constantly gets error message that the computer does not recognize this device. However with multiple insertion attempts it seems to work. It is irritating to keep getting error messages.

This product was DOA. Unfortunately I sent this to my son as a gift and he did not use it until the first week in July and it is no longer returnable to Best Buy. This is a poor way to treat a so-called Elite member if you ask me. Make sure everything purchased at Best Buy is working properly when you get it.

    Your Portable External Hard Drive

This Sandisk flash drive offers an extreme amount of memory, at a great price. When you couple that with USB 3.0 speeds and the small micro size you're getting added storage for your computer with the simplest setup. Unlike traditional flash drives that are too long to leave in your laptop while moving about, this flash drive safely stays in place, and works best if you have more than USB port... Which is becoming rare these days. Even still if you must purchase a flash drive, that won't be swapped out frequently, this is your best bet. I've found that I'm able to keep up with my flahdrives much easier than their larger counterparts, and in the event that your flashdrive is misplaced Sandisk has built in encryption and password protection software to keep your data safe and accessible by its owner. I keep a Sandisk Ultrafit stationary in my Surface Book, and can't wait for USB C model for my MacBook Pro w/Touchbar. All in all, this the type of technology worth of getting exited about, where it just work, and its form definitely was designed to meet its function!

I plugged in the flash drive and it was not recognized by my computer. But when I removed it, I got a message that I needed to eject it through Finder, even though it never showed it. I tried all sorts of ideas and could not get it to work. I returned it for a refund.

I like SanDisk but this is a not a great USB stick, over heats and causes issues with the USB port and the USB stick. I wouldn't recommend or ever buy something of this size again due to issues and it's best to stick with a normal USB stick.

Low Profile - Great for Car Audio

I bought this for our car audio system. 128gb in a low profile drive. A win win definitely. Do make sure you get the updated version, as the initial roll out had issues with skipping.
