A: YES, mine gets too hot even when sitting idle in the laptop USB 3.0 port. When it's actually transferring data, it literally gets too hot to touch. After only a few months, the electrical contacts have deteriorated to the point where it feels like sandpaper when sliding it in and out of the USB port. Unacceptable and NOT recommended. I'm going to return it.

A: I purchased this Flash Drive in July 2017. Yes, it is very hot when I fist remove it from the port, in time it cools off.
A: I have only had it for about a month or so... it does get HOT if left in for extended periods so not sure how it will affect the data, if at all.

A: it depends on the size of songs, average is 4 mb so you can fit up tp 32,768 songs
A: No, this drive is not for an iPhone 6. It is a USB flash drive that works with any USB 3.0 and below port. The iPhone 6 does not have a USB port.
