Customers are saying
Customers appreciate the Ultra Fit 128GB USB 3.0 Type A Flash Drive's small size, large storage capacity, and ease of use, frequently citing it as a good value for the price. Many also highlight the fast transfer speeds enabled by the USB 3.0 interface. However, some users noted that the drive can get warm during use, and a few mentioned minor design concerns regarding the protective cap. Overall, the positive feedback on storage and speed outweighs the negative comments on heat and design.

Works well for what I needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this same product in the 64GB size. I bought this 128GB so that I could run my iTunes library off it and free up some space on my internal drive. It took about 30 minutes to copy my 67GB library over to this external drive. After that everything seems to be working perfectly. My only issue is that sometimes whenever I move my computer to its side my MBA seems to think I have forcibly ejected the USB. Not sure if it's due to the way these Drives are made or if my MBA is just funny acting.

Did not work as advertised, buggy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would rate ZERO stars if could but website requires minimum one star. Can be used two ways, with or without vault encryption application. Trying it both ways still failed to accept my data. 1) When ran encryption app, it checks for software updates from its website. Did have an update but after it auto downloaded it and prompted to restart the app (so update could be applied), the restart failed. That was bug #1. So skipped the software update. 2) Decided to bypass the encryption app by just dragging files from C-drive to the flash (E-drive) directly, as their website indicated I could do. Since this was a brand new flash drive, had 115 Gigabytes available. Unfortunately, my Windows 7 Pro laptop refused to copy my 39Gigabyte file, saying it exceeded available disk space on the flash drive. How could 39 GB be more than 115 GB available? That was bug #2. Needed to offload my huge file from my C-drive to free up disk space but was completely unable to do so. Bottom line: This failed to meet my needs. Product had zero mention of any file size limitation of what it could accept. Did not try copying smaller files. Returning it for a refund.

Failed after less than four months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing gets ridiculously hot which probably lead to the premature failure. Make sure you keep your data on this backed up!

Super fast!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fast read and write speeds. I use mine plugged into my marantz receiver loaded with 70+ gigs of Lossless audio (FLAC) and it sounds great. I love that its has a very small footprint so it doesn't protrude out of the front of the receiver and looks natural.

GARBAGE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a photography and videography business owner and I bought a bunch of these to transfer footage to for my editors to edit off of. I figured they'd be great because they don't stick out, there is a REALLY high data transfer rate (130 mbps), and I was getting them on sale at a deeply discounted rate. WRONG! These things bottleneck SO BAD. It should NEVER TAKE 30+ minutes to transfer 3gb of data! This might be ok for a document here, a document there but for files of any decent size, this thing will make you pull your hair out! I wouldn't give you a dollar for 100 more of these! I wish I could get my money back because they are awful. I NEVER write reviews but these things are so bad and SO much more expensive than what I paid (I paid $34 and they're currently being sold for $119), I can't help but tell you all the truth!

HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT and not in a good way, This product will burn you if you transfer files over 10gb, it is hot to the touch and I am afraid to leave in my laptop for fear it will destroy the usb port.

Slow and hot
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to use as my backup drive, and it works great for the first few minutes then the speed drops to 3mb transfer rate. It took almost an hour to copy a 10GB folder and when I touched the drive it was warm to the touch. I am afraid of a fire hazard or damaging the USB port.
