Didn't work for what I wanted

I can't get it to work for that, tried reformatting in the manual and searched online for ideas, but can't get it to work. So just using it as a regular flash drive, which it works just fine as.

Slow and runs hot

I tested it on several different computers at work and at home (all with USB 3.0 ports) to be sure. First it was EXTREMELY slow for a USB 3.0 drive - I could not believe how long it took to copy 500MB of data. Secondly when I removed the drive (even if it was only plugged in for a minute or so) it was so hot I could barely touch it. I was excited to get a 64GB flash drive in such a small package for such a low price, but this drive was unusable and I feared the heat would damage my equipment.
