Serious overheating issues

If I try to transfer any large files 3-4+gb the drive will overheat, disconnect itself from the computer momentarily, and come back on. Small files work fine but honestly if you transfer huge amount of data the heat issues arise. I love sandisk products and use nothing but their memory cards and thumb drives but this one is no good.

Fast and the size is great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The speed of the USB 3.0 is a big plus on the larger size drives and the physical size is great for when you want your storage to be discreet and used regulatory. I use mine in a car radio to listen to FLAC files. The only thing that might be a negative is if you are using this drive to on a lot of devices it is not the easiest to grab quickly.
