I have a wide variety of them in my car and use them to stream music from my USB to my audio system while driving. Whether it is podcasts or music, these drives work very well and have sufficient capacity to hold a lot of content. They are also great to have around the house for transferring files from one computer to another.

While playing the videos, it get heat up quite fast, and after a while, it's disconnected. I use it to store mp3 music and connect to my usb port in my car, and that works well.

Posted .While some heat is expected during video playback, it should not disconnect and overheat. Since it works in your car, the issue may be related to compatibility with your iPad/iPhone.
