They are OK for sneakernet but not if you plan to leave them plugged in all the time because they tend to overheat. One failed after three months. I'm being very careful not to leave the others plugged in any longer than necessary. On the plus side, the warranty claim was honored in a reasonable time. Fortunately, I kept my receipt.

If you plan on carrying it around unplugged, it can easily get lost. I wish it came with a keychain holder or the string holder. It's just a small addition but would make a difference.

On the back of a desktop computer? not really. In a car in a recessed cubby? Probably not. Just too small to get a good hold on in those kind of places. Easy to put in but very hard to get out. Cant get a good grip on it. But it is fine on ports that are easy to get to and not crowded with other USB cables

My HDD transferring 20 GB with USB 3.0 took 8 minutes. It took this flash drive 20 minutes for the same files. I was informed by the salesman that the graphics are misleading on the package meaning about the transfer speeds and such. I purchased anyway because I needed the small size and this was the only 1 on their shelf. Where it also lacks is having a protective cover like previous versions. Feels very cheap when handling it.

I can transfer mp3 music files to my PNY 3.1 drive at 90-100 mps. The same files transferred to this drive starts around 14, drops to 0 for a time then resumes at around 9. I've never experienced more than 26 mps. I don't like the plastic either. Owned for 16 days.
