The mount regardless of adjust will not keep the tv level, very unstable arm.

This mount has been nice and the design is very good but I expected more for the money. I mounted a 43" decently heavy TV (max size for this model). Mounts are hard because you can find super cheap ones online that work ok, but the legit ones cost a lot more money. I've had a number of single arm mounts over the years and out of the box this is one of the nicest feeling and looking. The cable management is excellent and easy to use. The construction is solid and has no slop or play when operating. My main complaint is I cannot get the TV to be level in all situations. I can level it when it's folded against the wall but when I pivot the mount out and to the side the TV picks up a noticeable tilt. It has a very convenient tilt adjustment which made it easy to level in one position but something about it must not be square since it cannot hold level throughout it's reach. The other problem I had was that the arms move so smoothly it was getting moved around by air or people walking past in the house. I was able to tighten up the pivot joints with a 5/32" allen (not provided) but it's difficult to get that perfect tightness between solid and not hard to reposition. Overall it only took about 15 minutes to install and there are a number of nice features like being able to adjust the height of the plate on the back of the TV so even after install you have some adjustment for height. In the world of TV mounts I can deal with minor problems from a cheapo mount from online but I expect more out of the expensive premium mounts and this one just had to many problems to recommend.

So far so good. I installed this on a tv outside. I really needed a mount that was versatile and could easily be adjusted to avoid sun spots. I also needed a mount that was easily to pull out because I have a protective cover and a flat mount makes putting the cover back on a less than pleasant experience. The directions are super easy. I scanned the QR code and followed the directions step by step. It’s probably not necessary as it’s so easy but I wanted to do it as the process intended with the paperwork in the box. Mounting to the tv is a standard process. Line up the holes and match the hardware. Attaching the bracket to the studs was simple. I like that they included hinged doors to hide the bolts. It’s a clean look when the mount is extended. There were a couple small designs I didn’t like. One was the adjustment screw. There is a bolt in the middle and it took several realignments to center it so the bracket the locking screw goes in doesn’t tilt. It’s easier to level the screen and tighten the locking screw rather than mess with the alignment screw. I also would have liked more resistance from the mount as the tv can swing too easily at times and not stay in position but outside you deal with wind and such and these are usually for indoor use. With that being said I am going to buy the 55 inch one for the tv in my living room. Sometimes you pay more for the little things and that’s what makes this so good. You can clearly see it’s high quality and well thought out.

Absolutely easy to set up and put together. Packaging was great. Instructions were well thought out and well written list of needed tools were very accurate and didn’t need anything else. I’m mounted a 43 inch TV with us and it seems to support it really well the movement and articulation of it also lends itself to great viewing options. The build quality was good and was easy to set up by myself. The only negative that I have about the build quality would be the lack of a leveling bubble on the unit itself, so it will require you to have a level or plum to get this hung right. To hang this took about 25 minutes most of which was reading the instructions. The actual mounting process took maybe 5 to 10 minutes once the process was understood. There were minimal holes put in the wall from this with only two bolts needed to mount so for those of you worried about multiple holes this is pretty minimal. I would recommend this to anyone looking to mount a smaller TV up to 43 inches as it was easy and appears to be built well.

I've had a very good experience thus far with the Elite Advanced Full-Motion 4D + Shift TV Wall Mount from SANUS. Right out of the box you can tell it is a quality product. It's a hefty hunk of metal that just makes you FEEL confident in its ability to do its job. In the past I've refrained from using swing-arm style mounts because when they're extended they start to sag or feel too loose for comfort. That's not the case with this one though. Due to the layout of the room in which this mount was to be placed, I needed something where the arm could be fully extended and the television attached could be rotated 180 degrees. It would basically be like this, facing one side of the room or the other, at all times. With the exception of when we'd have friends or family over, that is. Then, it would need to be pushed back flat against the wall. So far this mount has worked perfectly. It installed relatively quickly, feels very sturdy when mounted to a stud with the included lag bolts, and was adjusted easily once the television was mounted. I am very happy with it. The only issue I really have with it is the channels along the bottom through which we're told we can hide cables. I don't know what cables other people are using, but mine certainly do not fit. I ended up using zip ties for cable management and that is perfectly fine. Still though, if you're going to offer that as a feature, please allow for at least one average diameter HDMI cable and power cord to fit. All told, however, I would definitely recommend this wall mount to others. In fact, I already have. Both my parents and sister have seen it in action and want to switch to using this rather than their old mounts. So I guess I have 2 more to install, hehe. At least they go up quickly and are a cinch to adjust.

I have been a big fan of this brand for a while. I wish I would have known about them before I mounted two of my main tv's but when I change the tv's out next I will be definitely purchasing Sanus elite advanced full motion mounts. When you open the box it has a quick start guide with a template. That guide has QR codes of videos on how to install this mount. I have mounted enough of them so I go to the regular directions but for people that are new those videos basically show you how to mount it in every step. The regular installation guidelines are very informative and if you have installed mounts prior it should not be that difficult to install. When installing the lag bolts to the stud I would highly recommend following the directions to the letter. I did not on another mount and that tv mount came away from the stud/wall over time. It is not fun having to take the tv off and trying to relocate the mount because the drilled hole you used was stripped out. It may be harder to screw the lag bolt in but it is well worth your time and energy if you have to redo it. I really like the cable management as I do not like to have cables showing so this was a big plus. This mount fold up against the wall very tightly and the motion is fantastic. I will be purchasing another one for another one of our tv's. I would highly recommend this mount.

I began hanging my televisions a couple of years back and I have used several brands. Some are easy to hang, but are limited with functionality. Some are difficult to hang but have great features. This mount was the best of both worlds. It is rated to work with 43” televisions and it did not work with the 43” television that I had originally intended it for. The mounting plate was way too small for a television that size. I highly recommend that you visit the manufacturer’s website to check the model of your television for compatibility. I had another 32” television and this was perfect for this sized screen. The base is very easy to install with just two bolts. There is a paper mount template included with the kit and it was very easy to level up. The television mount only needed four screws and there were several varieties of sizes included that should cover most smaller televisions. One the wall mount was installed, hooking on the television was very simple and easily held the television in place until I could install the securing screw. I was surprised at how much flexibility the arms provided. I was able to easily position the TV and the mount looks great.

We have a small 40" 4k tv that was just on the dresser that often got covered with clothes that needed to be put away and cat fur as the cat walked passed the tv on the dresser. Now the tv is mounted on the wall in such a way that it is tucked against the wall when not in use and can be pulled out for viewing whenever we want. Easy to install (2 people can get it up and installed in 30min). Rotates smoothly and looks great. Cable management is fairly easy, once done, it looks very professional. Highly recommend for anyone that wants a bedroom tv without the headache. Feels sturdy once attached to a stud in the wall. Doesn't wiggle or move when the arms are rotated for viewing. I don't have anything negative to say about it. It's a solid armature that functions exactly as I needed it to. Zero complaints. The 4D rotation gives you maximum viewing options which is nice if you move about the bedroom while folding and putting away laundry. This will easily outlast the tv that is hooked up to it, so it will be used for future tv purchases as well.

Loving my new Sanus mount for my 32-inch LG TV in the bedroom! It's a perfect fit and I was able to mount my TV in the corner and free up so much space compared to my old TV space. The Sanus Elite - Advanced Full-Motion 4D + Shift TV Wall Mount was the ideal mount for our purpose. I just moved into a new apartment and was having space problems in my son's room that required I mount his TV to the wall. This mount is easy enough to install for a handy person, but might be a little much to someone who isn't. This definitely requires an assortment of tools, like a level, drill, etc. First thing after unboxing is to read the instructions carefully. I made sure to remove the stand from the TV and laid it flat on the carpet, face down. Attaching the plate to the back of the TV is the easiest part. Once the plate is on, you need to locate a stud in the wall with a studfinder. Once a stud is located, use the template to mark your holes. Drill pilot holes and then use the lag screws to secure the mount to the wall. If you have concrete block, the box does include plastic mollies, but I would recommend tapcons. After the mount is secured to the wall, you can seat the tv, with plate attached, to the mount. Once mounted, you are free to remove the wire covers and route the wires through the arm. Now you are done and free to enjoy the fruits of your labor. The mount works as advertised and gives a full range of motion. I fully recommend.

The Sanus Elite Advanced Full-Motion 4D + Shift TV Wall Mount is perfect. The instructions are detailed enough to guide you while mounting and there is a QR code to assist as well. Both the instructions and the website advises you what tools you will need to complete the installation. I need to install a TV mount in one of our spare bedrooms for when family and friends come visit us. This mount handle TVs as small as 19 inches and as large as 43 inches, which is the perfect size for the spare bedroom. Instructions provided goes also provides options for mounting into wood studs or concrete. If you're going to install into wood studs, make sure you have stud finder available as this will be key. The total installation was roughly about 30 minutes total and I was being intentionally slow to make sure I didn't have to correct anything later on. Once the mount and the TV itself were on the wall, I then used a level to make sure the TV was straight and a socket wrench to tighten the bolts and make sure the TV was secured. If you follow the step-by-step instructions, you will not have any issues installing this mount. Highly recommend.

This is sturdy with clear instructions. I installed it in a stud, which is safer than depending on plaster board to hold a TV.
