    I just spoke with a human being there at Sanus, not AI, and he confirmed that the mounting instructions are WRONG. The lag screws are not in line with the center of the mounting bracket. So if you center the lag screws on your wall, your tv will be 3.5 inches off center to the left! In order to have your tv be centered on the wall, you have to place the lag screws 3.5 inches to the right of your center line. Yesterday I called and talked to someone in their call center who was very polite, but had no product knowledge about this at all. And he kept asking someone else for help, who kept saying you just adjust it left and right after it's mounted. THIS IS WRONG. There is no left and right adjustment when the bracket is flat against the wall. You have to mount the lag screws 3.5 inches off center to the right in order for the U bracket on which the tv hangs to be centered on your wall. The guy I just talked to said Yeah, we need to get that fixed in the directions. And I said this product has been on the market for years! I see other reviews talking about this. I also see a lot of reviews that do not mention this at all and I wonder if they are fake reviews or they actually don't realize that their tv is off center. When you extend the arm away from the wall and move it around, it won't matter so maybe that's why people don't notice. But when it is flat against the wall, it is not right.

    Intelligent design and generally well made. Biggest flaw is its streamlined design where only two screws hold it to the wall--e.g., it becomes critical the stud is reliably found and the screws are perfectly centered into that stud.

    It appears to be a good product but after mounting we discovered it didn't work in the area. I tried to return it but was told I couldn't because it was over 2 weeks from purchase. I thought the return policy was one month. I'm doubtful I will purchase anything at Best Buy again.
