    I bought this mount based on the sanus brand name, weight limit, 4d feature, and because of past experiences with sanus mounts which are the only ones I use in my home or recommend to others. The install process was smooth and everything seemed great until I attempted to use the 4d feature to raise the tv to give more clearence for my floor standing speakers under the TV so i could properly tilt the screen. As i was raising the level of the TV the metal U shaped clamp that holds the top of the rail which turns to raise or lower the tv broke free causing my tv to abruptly drop and hit the top of my speakers. The screen wasnt cracked so i assumed the tv was fine and exchanged the mount for a new one. When the tv was mounted with the new mount and i went to turn it on, the led panel under the glass was broken. I had turned the tv on previously before mounting to confirm everything was functioning properly so the mount breaking is absolutely the cause of the broken panel. I now own a $1500 paperweight of a TV which is effectively trash because i dont have accidental damage insurance on it. My tv is 75" and only ~83 lbs which is well under the 125lb limit. If my tv being 40+ lbs under the limit caused the mount to break i can't imagine larger/heavier TVs being very safe to use with this mount at least while using the 4d feature which is the main selling point. Maybe it was a defect with my specific mount, but for $350 i expected better and the main feature of the mount breaking and in turn breaking my TV is unacceptable.
