The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount is a beast of a mount for larger TVs. It excels in providing a secure and exceptional flexibility for TVs between 42 to 90 inches. Its impeccable quality build and many features make it an ideal choice for most TV viewers with large screens. I’m an avid DIYer with some years of experience, however the installation process seemed more complex than I expected, primarily due to the mount's weight at about 50 pounds and the number of components involved. To prioritize durability and strength, SANUS built it like a tank; a mix of premium-grade metal and hard plastics that supports TVs up to 125 pounds. For a successful installation, a stud finder and a level are a must as well as a helping hand due to the sheer size of the mount. The instructions were clear, demanding attention to detail, definitely not for beginners. In the end, due to a recently sustained hand injury, I had it professionally installed by two members of the Geek Squad. The outcome was a sturdy and professional-looking setup. This TV mount stands out with its great range of motion. I have a 65-inch TV attached to it and I’m so impressed with its smoothness that it feels effortless. It can tilt, swivel, and has extending capabilities that ensure additional viewing angles in any room. The "SHIFT" in its name is a feature that allows for precise horizontal adjustments, especially if wall studs are misaligned. It has a well designed integrated cable management system that keeps your connections neatly organized and enhances the overall visual appeal of your entertainment setup. The build quality is top of the line, with a solid and well-made mount ensuring that your TV will be securely supported and protected. The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount is a great choice for those seeking maximum flexibility and viewing angles. The only challenges are the weight and complexity of installation. Besides that, its solid construction, great craftsmanship and advanced features make it a worthwhile investment for larger TVs.

Tried adjusting the height and the cheap flimsy plastic they have on it for a cap holding it in snapped. Wouldn't recommend to ANYONE.

I have purchased several Sanus mounts over the years. This one is probably the best yet. Like the others, it is very high quality and a bit expensive. I needed one that would extend a long distance. The directions were thorough. The motion is very smooth. I was able to place the TV exactly where I wanted it and level it perfectly. Excellent product and highly recommend.

Wow, this Sanus 4D full motion mount is huge! I have two Sanus VLT6 mounts which, like this mount, can also accommodate televisions up to 90-inches. The major difference is, this mount has full rotation and viewing adjustment capability whereas the VLT6 mounts have much more limited movement consisting of basically forward, back, tilt up, or down. The VLT6’s are also significantly smaller than this full motion mount. I’ve installed several Sanus mounts previously, so I’m familiar with the process. Sanus provides comprehensive installation guides, templates, and several helpful QR code links to aid with installation. They even provide a helpful installation walkthrough on their website that can even help determine the optimal placement height based upon the make and model television. I rounded up the usual necessary tools (drill, pencil, level, screwdriver, and socket set), found the wall studs, verified and marked the stud centers, leveled and drilled the four mounting holes, bolted the wall plate to the wall using a 13mm socket, and attached the arm assembly to the wall bracket via the hook and two locking screws. My television delivery was delayed, so I won’t be able to attach it to the mount until later this week. However, the mount is installed, the arm travels smoothly, and the mount feels solid, sturdy and more than capable of handling the 65-inch OLED TV heading my way. Assembly was easy but also a little aggravating. The first time I lifted the bracket to the wall, the top plastic cover snapped off, causing me to lose my grip and nearly drop the heavy bracket onto my foot. I kept the plastic piece detached during the remainder of the mounting as a precaution. Afterwards, when I snapped the plastic piece back on, the words were upside down. This makes me wonder if I may have installed the bracket upside down. The bracket doesn’t seem to have a definitive up or down and it looks fine on the wall. The arm fits perfectly and moves fine, and both plastic pieces actually also fit and function fine. Everything looks and works normal, so I won’t worry about the minor aesthetics of some tiny barely noticeable words that will be mostly blocked by the television anyhow. Not worth removing four long bolts that took some major elbow grease to get locked down tight. I even suspect the two plastic pieces may even be interchangeable and what I’m seeing is normal.

I purchased this specific tv mount for its versatile flexibility. Once I prepared to mount it, I realized I had very little choices on placement due to outlets behind tv and space constraints. The wall that I was mounting to was another headache because I have both wood and metal studs in it. I got the wall side mounted but the issue came up when we tried to hang the tv on the mounting point. There are these 2 little clips on the tv bracket that need to click in to the wall bracket mount point. Everytime we would hang it one clip would bend and we’d have to take the entire tv down so I could bend it back straight. We did this about 3 times till it finally went in. Being that the clips were bent, I was concerned about safety and contacted Sanus. Their customer service was very receptive and said my mount was still under warranty and they would send a replacement. Hopefully will receive it in a couple of days. The next issue is the leveling screw, that thing is kinda wonky and you need to play with it to get it just right. Lastly the tilt feature is a fail. I loosen the screw according to instructions but that tilt plate will not budge, both without the tv mounted and off. I will probably need to contact customer service again. All in all it’s a sturdy mount and I’m satisfied.

Since my tv is recessed back, a typical mount will not work. The ability to telescope out, tilt and move up and down allows so much adjustability to ensure the tv is centered and cables are accessible. The price seems high, but you won't find another mount that is this sturdy with as much adjustability anywhere.

easy installation if you understand anything about standard wood framed walls. makes the TV very versatile in an awkward space. We really like it. It seems too expensive for no more than it is but that's the way with everything nowadays. I recommend this product if you need to able to view the TV from different angles for different occasions.

This mount gives the consumer a variety of options to choose from even with an extremely large tv, great motion, great strength, easy install, easy to hook a tv upon fixing to wall, would and will buy again

Solid and easy to install on my corner mounted 65" TV. The shift feature lets me adjust height perfectly. No more neck strain. Sleek design too! Totally overkill for most people though

We had the Geek Squad install this TV Mount for a 77" Samsung TV. They did a great job and ran the wires behind the wall too. My only issue is not so much with the mount but the way Samsung mounts the power supply and brains for the TV. They interfere with the mount when it is against the wall so that it is not truly flush. The TV sticks out about 3 inches from the wall. Not a big deal for us but something to consider. The mount is well made and easy to install on the wall. It does take two people to install this properly. The mount to the TV is pretty sweet and the frame attaches easily with screws. The TV is then placed over the center mechanism of the wall mount and you fasten it together. Very nice overall

Excellent experience mounting both the mount to the wall and the TV to the mount. Directions that are easy to follow. Very heavy and very heavy duty. Easy to move the TV in all directions, and the ability to crank the TV higher or lower really lets you dial in the position perfectly. Its a bit spendy, but you get what you pay for, and this is a top notch product. It made mounting my 85" Sony X90L easy (with another person to help set the TV onto the mount)

Excellent ROM and fluid movement. Ver sturdy and strong. I highly recommend this product.

So far it's worked well with my 83" TV. The movement is smooth when turning side to side. Extending in and out needs a bit more force.

I purchased this TV mount solely for the flexibility to be able to raise the TV or lower it after it had been mounted. It’s not the cheapest TV mount, but the quality is great, and it is extremely easy to move and rotate with just your fingertips. I also like the fact that the back of the mount is mostly open to access a media box that I have mounted in the wall behind it.

this is perfect for my tv that needs to be pulled out to view. The installation was great.

Worth the price. I had very little room for error when mounting because the tv was only a half inch shorter than the space between my ceiling and mantle. This mounts up and down feature allowed me to make mistakes and shift my tv into the correct location

I opted to spend a little extra and get this mount and am so happy I did. It does everything I could want and I really love the option to raise and lower the TV height. It is easy to use due to the 'handle' at the bottom of the mount to pull out, push in, turn, tilt, etc. It moves very easily but stays in place wherever I put it.

This full motion TV wall mount was exactly what I wanted. It can slide to multiple positions, it can push flat against the wall or pull out , it can turn left or right and it can tilt up or down for viewing pleasure. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a wall mount.
