    it doesnt move forward just side to side. ALso when using a laser to measure make sure it is alligned to you floor also.

    The new bracket was necessary. I replaced an older Samsung with a newer model. The new Samsung was a fifty five inch TV. This was the same size as the older model. During installation of the new television, I was advised that I needed a "current" bracket. Seemed silly to me, but I guess this was a way for Samsung to make even more money. A third party installed the new bracket. He was advised I wanted it at the same height as the older bracket and television. However, it was hung higher. Also, two wires were left showing on the wall. Previously, the wires were in the wall and not visible. While the bracket works fine, the installation was a mess. can not rate the overall experience as positive.

    Geek Squad used the mount for my old TV. They advised me the old mount was much superior to this one.
