    This mount is a good basic TV mount. Assembly is pretty simple and doesn't take long. Would give five stars if the price was a little better.

    The new bracket was necessary. I replaced an older Samsung with a newer model. The new Samsung was a fifty five inch TV. This was the same size as the older model. During installation of the new television, I was advised that I needed a "current" bracket. Seemed silly to me, but I guess this was a way for Samsung to make even more money. A third party installed the new bracket. He was advised I wanted it at the same height as the older bracket and television. However, it was hung higher. Also, two wires were left showing on the wall. Previously, the wires were in the wall and not visible. While the bracket works fine, the installation was a mess. can not rate the overall experience as positive.

    I think there is some confusion in the instructions. They say to use the plastic mollies in studs. That’s gotta he Wrong.
