If the tv bulges in back it defeats the purpose. My new tv is only an inch thick all the way down so it worked well. The critical thing is to get it absolutely level because it can’t be adjusted for that once it’s bolted to studs. On a large tv even a slight tilt will be noticeable. You can slide I sideways for centering.

Only issue I had is the safety lock that is supposed to lock in place when you make the TV flat against the wall, won’t lock. Not a huge deal but I tried everything to get it to lock in place but couldn’t get it.

Very Slim Mount

This mount slaps the tv to the wall but required 2 people to do it. First you should make the connections with the tv seating close to the wall on a table (I used a ladder) to get it high enough. Once u make the connections u mount the TV. Very sturdy but you may want to use screws from Home Depot. The custom screws that came with the kit easily strips. I was able to get only of them completely screwed in. If u r not handy u may want to try other mounts

Well, if there don't go together easy and the instructions aren't clear, you can say a lot. However, this was installed for me. I watched the process, start to finish. made me wish I had done it. It was still worth it tooi have it done for me. The instructions were clear, simple and easy to follow. That makes this mount Great
