This was the 5th Sanus wall mount I installed in my new home during the past 5 months, so the installation was fairly routine and easy. I like the fact that this wall mount allows the TV to fit close to the wall and also the fact that the TV support panel slides to the left and right along the wall mounted brackets. This allows you make horizontal adjustments after the TV has been installed.

To be clear I was not looking for the flattest mount out there, I just did not want one of the big articulating arm ones and this was all that was in stock. It is very easy to secure to the wall, but you must be careful to level the tv brackets perfectly because there is no built in mechanism to level the tv once in place. Also you have to connect everything before you hang the tv on it because there is no way you are getting to any of the ports once it is up.

I have it above a mantle and cant pull them straight down. Be nice if they had pulley/wheel so they could be pull forward too.

Worth the slightly increased price versus competitors. I use it in bedroom where fixed position is all that’s required. Best tools for install: 2 foot level, drill for pilot holes, impact for lag bolts, Ratchet to hand tighter bolts, pencil (stud finder optional). Note: Cable system access strings that are visible from beneath TV may be hidden creatively.

Great TV Wall Mount!

Great Low-Profile MOUNT

The flip down service tilt tabs provide easy access to the side connections, but the back connections should be made before hanging the TV unless you are a contortionist with a bright light. Best mount for the money if you do not need tilt. However, it can be permanently slightly tilted with mounting spacers at the top and longer screws. The latch release cords are fully adjustable to be flush with the bottom of the TV. One problem is with installing the mount so the bottom latches engage. Mine do not engage because it is so tight and it is too much trouble right now to get it perfect which I could do if I cared.

Good fixed position wall mount

Pull cords are a little too long for 65" TV and it is necessary to take up all of the slack to hide them behind TV. Getting the bottom latch to engage can also be a bit tricky.

I also liked how close to the wall this unit allowed the TV to be. The additional proximity to the wall comes from the omission of space utilizing features like tilt and swivel. So know that this mount has neither feature. However if those features are not important to you this positives of installation and resting on the wall with no gap for aesthetics is worth it. Sanus is a good brand too.
