    TV Wire and Cable Concealing

    Disappointed. We bought 2 tv’s, one for living room to be mounted with wires through existing cable concealer in wall. 2nd tv to be mounted in bedroom with wires in purchased cable concealer they were yo use. First thing they tell us is they would not put the power cable in the existing living room concealer. So wire hangs down outside wall. Then in bedroom they would not install purchased concealer kit. So wires hang down wall. When purchased they knew we lived in an apartment. Also never explained to us they didn’t set up the tv’s. That’s an extra purchase? Installers seemed to be in a big hurry. Good job at least on the wall mounting. Thanks.

      The decisions around running power cables inside existing walls or installing concealment kits are made by the retailer’s installation team, often based on building policies, electrical codes, or rental property restrictions. Since you mentioned living in an apartment, that may have influenced what they were permitted to do.

      Installation scope, in-wall work, and TV setup services are all handled directly by Best Buy and their installers, so they would be the best team to address concerns about what was included or why certain work wasn’t completed.
