I needed an easily installable in wall kit to connect my wall mounted TV to the power/ media center enabling me to hide the wires. The Legrand in wall power kit was the answer. The installation is super easy. All the tools are provided (except the philips head screw driver). It has a circular saw to cut the exact circle in the dry wall to install the kit. It takes all of 15 mins to complete the entire process. Very satisfied with the product. Worth the money!!

I had purchased a different and cheaper version of this without the receptacle plug, One that you put holes in the wall to run wires through. When the Geek Sqaud came out they made a valid point that the one I purchased would allow the TV power cord through the wall but the wire on the plug was not rated for being inside the wall so they could not install it. They said if something happened that was related to the power cord being in the wall it may not be covered by insurance. It's a valid point so I upgraded to this more expensive one and had them install it. It provides peace of mind knowing that things were done safely.

All the necessary info and tools provided for a good, clean installation. However, I did not realize the problem associated with this socket kit. Note, the electrical connection is recessed. In the past that would not be a problem, but today many devices, such as my new TV, have a right angle between the prongs and the cord. The result, you cannot plug it in to this socket. I had to purchase an adapter for the TV plug to I could plug it into this kits socket. Beware - now all the details on what you may plug in to this recessed socket.

Just make sure you’re not on a stud and you should be good to go! This was easier to install than the wall mount for the tv. Just measure height for both holes to ensure they’re both hidden from sight and top doesn’t interfere with the wall mount. Used on interior wall so the fish tape was not needed. Just dropped the cord straight down.

Really like the in wall power kit. Being able to hide the wires is a great opposition. The look is great!

We thought we’d have to hire an electrician for this service, but Best Buy had just what we needed. The Geek Squad agents easily concealed the wires from the TV in the wall when they mounted the TV, and we now have a neat, attractive wall mount. The process was surprisingly quick and at a fraction of the cost we thought we’d have to pay.

My son and I used this kit to hid wiring from my 65" Samsung TV to our entertainment unit below. It was such an easy kit to follow. It took about 15 minutes or so for us to have everything set up. I should have picked this up a long long time ago! It hides all of my HDMI, optical and TV power cord wires so nicely! Don't wait if you're still considering purchasing one! Highly recommend it!

This is great when you need power for behind your tv. However if you have multiple device that you’re running HDMI cables in the wall for, the opening at the bottom is not big enough for all cables to fit. If you have more than two devices use ultra thin HDMI cables. It also recommends that you use the tools supplied I would recommend using a drill for the whole saw it makes the ease of installing into drywall easier.
