It is almost impossible to get behind the TV without totally dismounting it.

Yes, for these low profile mounts, you should get your TV cables on the back of the TV before mounting. Super slim mounts like this have little access once mounted unless you use the spacers we provide, which are intended to help in this very situation. Let me know if you need anything else.

Decent mount

You have to pull real hard to get them to release. There's nowhere to store them, they just dangle unless poked up behind TV.
