I thought may-be reversing them but you can't this would move the adjustment knobs to the inside and be to difficult for you to reach I do like the locking mechanism

This is a tilt mount that should be able to perform as stated as long as your TV is under 90" and 150lbs. Try twisting the tension knobs on either arm. If you are still having difficulties, call us here at 800-359-5520 and we can walk you through it.

Flimsy Wallmount

I have an OLED LG TV 65 inch. My TV stuck out way more than I wanted too. I didnt realize why at first. I ended up returning it and purchasing the fixed wall sanus mount .
