There is not much tilt thou. We installed our tv in an inset fire place wall and it is difficult to reach the hook up on the back because it doesn’t pull out or tilt very much at all.

Whether it can handle its maximum rated weight or not I don't know. The release tabs are cheap looking. I don't think it is worth the price; I've seen better for less. It does move and adjusts pretty smoothly though.

Thank you for your review. If you are at all worried about the durability of this mount, rest assured that it is UL listed. This means it has been tested and will withstand up to 4x the recommended weight limit.
