I would recommend this mount to anyone looking for a tv mount for a 60" or over tv. Easy to install

This is a great wall mount for a 60 inch television. I love the flat tilt option.

i bought this to hold a Heavy 55" Plasma TV 70+lbs , which it did without incident for about a month before the tv went out and i replaced it with a lighter & larger 65" tv. i screwed this bracket to a 16' 2x8 and then screwed that board to the wall. my only problem then was that the angle to which i want to be able to turn the tv was unobtainable because for that size tv this bracket doesn't offset from the wall to allow for it to turn more than approx 25 degree? so if your looking for a well built bracket that is capable of supporting a lot of weight with Limited room for adjustment (viewing angle) then this is ideal.

I opted for professional install sine I was getting such a big TV (85") and wanted to be sure it was secure. I can not speak on how self-install is, but I will say Best Buy installed it very quickly and easily and it has proved to be quite sturdy up until now. I'm very happy with it!

My husband installed this above our fireplace for our new Samsung 60" tv. It was an easy install for him - all the screws were included and it went together perfectly. The best thing about this mount is that it can be tilted and pulled out from the wall. We hung it above our fireplace, so we needed something that came out about 2" from the wall and something that tilted down so we had a better viewing angle. This was just perfect!
