I have no doubt it will handle an 85" when I decide to upgrade. As careful as I was to install the bracket nice and level, when I hung the tv it was slightly out of level. The adjustments on the bracket allowed me to level the tv in just a few minutes. That makes this mount perfect.

Solid wall mount

It's not a full range mount but does allow you a fair amount of tilt to adjust your tv as needed. It's also very sturdy which for us gave us piece of mind when mounting a tv. I would definitely recommend this product.
