Quite an upgrade

The ability to pull the tv out a few inches makes hooking up cable a breeze. Plus the ability to pull the tv out a few inches can make your viewing angle much better when you really don't need the full motion mount. The mount seems to be very sturdy and well made. I do not worry about my 75 inch tv being on it. Well worth the price!

Easier to mount tv

Some others we researched offered less distance from the tv and wall and was much harder to install. We have such a mount in another room and never wanted that hassle again. Works great, easy to install and highly recommend! Plus, Best Buy had a great price.
