    Agent was nice but quality of work was pretty mediocore. Wires started hanging out within couple weeks of install. Extremely diffuclt to get appts.

    not sure if it was the installer, or just the equipment, but between the constant squeak of the plastic equipment mount, and the stereo turning off at inconvenient times its just been a really poor experience all together.

    I must be an idiot, this is the third time I have had the geek squad install gear in a vehicle. The first two times they messed up and it was a fight to get Best Buy to try to fix the vehicles, they never did. So far nothing has ben found wrong with the install. The installers attitude was not helpful at all, talking down to me and trying to make me look and feel stupid. He also did not want to spend time getting the factory satellite radio antenna so he installed the after market one. The only plus side is the warranty so I can go to another Best Buy when something goes wrong.

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It's not idiotic to have high expectations, but it can still be quite disappointing to have them unfulfilled. I regret that you didn't not receive the service you hoped for. I'd recommend revisiting your local store and having the installation completed to your satisfaction. If needed, a manager should be able to help ensure you receive the care you need.

    I didn't receive a lot of information after the install. I guess the holiday crowds have them too busy for the proper customer service. I felt like I was rushed out.

    Do not have your car audio installation done at Best Buy. The installer was rude and unprofessional. I had to refund the whole purchase. Best Buy car audio installation is worthless.

    okay head unit, or receiver or whatever they re called now. needs a software update that it wont accept, that blows. epected more from SONY

    Kinda wish they would have consulted me on the location of the antenna, but it works. I would rather have it more out of the way than right above the driver side door for everyone to see.

    $50 is a little steep for installation, but it works exactly as promised. They went over all the steps in installation and did a great job

    It was installed but I’ve come back multiple times because wire keep dropping hangs down gettin in my way to drive. This will be my second time going back to have them fix

    It’s just doesn’t seem to work correctly. I’ve had SiriusXM come with my new vehicles but never installed. We replaced the cheap radio in our new Winnebago Vita RV. Well it will play then cut out. Comes back on only to cut cut out again. I think the longest it’s ever worked was maybe 15 mins. Don’t know if the tech installed it correctly or what? But we’re on the road for 3 month so I guess we’ll have to live with it.

    Took Way Too Long and Not Put Back Together Right

    I had a car stereo installed. Supposed to take 3 hours, it took 6 hours. Tech forgot to re-install headliner parts and I had to come back to get them installed. Now I've discovered the AC vent doesn't work. The vent tube is disconnected. So, now I have to try and get them to fix that. Wish me luck!

    The installer stopped working on my car and talked to someone else for an extended period of time while I stood and waited. Was a little bother by that.

    They did not have correct equipment to install stereo the first time we were there. They had to order the right equipment and then took longer than should have

    Lazy install

    Installer did not even ask about preference of where antenna should be mounted. He chose the most convenient location to him, which is on the dash. Very lazy! It could have easily been run through a rubber grommet and stuck on the roof to make it look like a factory install. Good that it was free, because I would not have been okay with this install.

    Not sure if it’s the install or not but I get no antenna service. It’s better using apple car play and using the app. Waste of money in my eyes.

    Poor Installation and No Quality Checks

    The agent that installed my radio and backup camera did not do a good job at all. First when my vehicle was returned the camera did to work at all. So I had to return on another date to get the camera to work. Then the camera worked but did not work correctly because the screen is upside down. The installer never checked for proper operation of anything. In other words, they lacked a quality check because my power outlet did not work after install and the heating and ac controls worked intermittently. It has taken me a long time to get around to getting this solved because it took so much time out of my schedule to get something that does not work. I purchased the Geek Squak plan, but have not had the opportunity to take the days it will take for this repair to take place. What a major inconvenience. l
