terrible fit in my Silverado
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paid nearly 1000$ for the entire stereo system to be updated in my husbands vehicle and then "professional " installation by Geek Squad.. this is the mounting kit that is recommended for the truck and it is terrible , it doesnt allow the unit to sit flush but the bottom is " IN " the dash and the top is protruding "out" past the dash... the spacer piece also " pops" out and has to be pushed back in .. Ive taken it back to geek squad and they " applied some glue" to hold it in .. but that lasted about an hour when the temps hit over 100 degrees

Went in dash great; stereo was recessed

The reason I received the wrong one is because I couldn’t get the search engine to narrow down the one I needed I ended up using another site. It might work great for the intended vehicle just not for mine No luck bringing it back for refund either
