I have had the other kind that holds the phone in but it always came loose and the sponges fell off. The magnet on this is amazing and it works so well! Perfect for me. I travel allot and use my phone gps.

I am a huge fan of all scosche products. This stands securely on my nightstand. I didn't want it in my car because I already have the single magnet in the middle of my steering wheel that my phone sits on. Very sturdy base

I put the metal through a fat case and the magnetism is still very secure and works perfectly doesn't rattle or anything perfect connection between the magnet and phone.

I use this mount for my phone, the magnet is strong. overall a great product.

The mount works well. However, you have to make sure the suction cup/mounting surface is clean.

I wanted a small, unobtrusive mount on the dash for my GPS unit. This unit does that perfectly. It is small but sturdy, holds the GPS very well and does not obstruct my view through the windshield.

Manget is strong and the extension is very rigid. I use it on my windshield but it also has a sticky surface for dash mount along with the standard suction cup.
