Will not stick to a windshield

I can tell you it will stick to my tinted side window but not to a windshield. it will stick to my kitchen counter tops but it will not stick to a windshield. Called Scosche since the instructions want you to call them and not return it to the store and all they could tell me to do was to return it to the store and try another they offered no explaination. It's going back Save your money.

Does not stick to anything in my vehicle
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the second mount I've purchased of this model, and the second one I will be returning. The suction cup sticks great for the first 15 minutes or so then just falls right off. I have tried to hold the suction cup directly in front of my heater on full blast to get the glue hot and make it more sticky. Then I put it back on the windshield and pressed firmly for over 2 minutes before letting go and flipping the suction clamp closed. A gentle tug would suggest that the glue has firmly adhered to the window and that the suction cup is fully fastened. Then, literally seconds later, the mount falls off my window -single every time. I have an older model of this mount in my car that has a longer neck and no glue on the suction cup. Though I had to return the first one of this model too, because the suction cup had broken off of the clamp piece during shipping, the second one I bought works just fine. I hope to find one of those again to replace this newer one with for my truck (I can't find it at best buy, I think I got the old one at Walmart). DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this new design! It's terrible.
