Customers are saying

Customers admire the MagicMount Power Universal Vehicle Mount's ease of use, strong magnet, and convenient charging port. Many appreciate its ability to securely hold phones, particularly for GPS navigation. However, some users experienced issues with stability and fit, noting that the mount sometimes wobbles or doesn't fit all vehicle types. A few also mentioned concerns about placement and the length of the mount's neck.

The wand unscrewed from the base. Good luck getting it back together. The wand was very stiff. So hard to bend. It seemed like it would have worked well anyway but I had to return it.

After a few months, it would no longer charge. Once phone or any other gadget was plugged in, the light would turn on but would not connect. Later, the base stopped charging as well. i was dissappointed that this did not last longer as its not exactly cheap.

Does not work with wireless charging. Might be the metal piece interfering with wireless charging. and if you have a case it won’t hold as well You’ll have to remove your case to be able to use it.

    Depends on Outlet Location

My outlet to plug this in was low. It caused problems and broke cigarette lighter cylanoid. I guess if it was in a different location in my car it would have been better. I think it still would have damaged the cylanoid. There has to be a better option out there.

    Phone Kept Falling Off

I have an iPhone 6 Plus with a slim case. I have used magnet mounts in the past and I LOVE them. But this one doesn't work well. Phone kept falling off. I think because it's on a 6-8" extender from the plug...it would bounce up and down slightly while driving and phone would fall off very easily. Even tried adding more sticky steel to my case so it was almost 3" x 3". But it's not a very large magnet area. Perhaps if it was twice the size it might hold through the bouncing? Don't know. The other magnet mounts I've used were GREAT and I LOVE using them - so convenient! However they were mounted on the vent or CD player and didn't bounce. I'd skip this one. Can't see how it would work even if you had a slightly smaller and lighter phone.

It was cool and held my phone securely. I found a nice short usb cord to charge the phone and it was great. Then it broke. It stopped charging because it loosened my socket. Returned it sadly!

Not strong enough to hold the iPhone 6 Plus. What's more, it is not ideal to place on vinyl dashboard. It won't stay. Had to return it back. So sad.

The mount itself worked ok, magnet never seemed to hold as strong as I'd like, but the electrical coming from the base was causing audio interference with my phone plugged into aux port.

I attached this to my otter box on my iPhone but after driving 5 minutes on a bumpy road, the phone fell off of the magnet. So I returned it to the store.

Unfortunately, when the magnet was it on the back of my phone, I had to removed it. I went back to Best Buy to buy magnets only and was told they did not carry them in two stores. I finally went to Walmart which stated they carried them. Wrong. I ended up having to buy a third unit to just get the magnets that were incorrectly applied. Unacceptable. Two days of my time spent trying tot track down stupid magnet replacements.

Phone slips around because magnet isn't strong enough, collects dust on the pad. Good idea though.

    Can't support weight of phone

Unfortunately, all the good aspects of this product are completely negated by the fact that it cannot support the weight of the phone. When you place the phone in the holder, it's as if it's neck is too weak and the thing nods. So you can't see the screen for navigation and have to rely on the voice, defeating the purpose of having the mount. Alas.
