A: I haven't experienced this myself but I have a feeling it would. I have all kids of sosche mounts because I frequently rent cars, and since Toyota can't get their act together with Android auto and each car is different it's hard to chose one that fits the best. I have a non magnetic one from Scosche that I just pinch closed enough to slide it in and out. Works pretty well that way.
A: I have an Otterbox cover over my case, and I easily placed the magnet with very minimal bulk. The metal sleeve is super thin.
A: Due to the size of my car (GMC Yukon) and cigarette lighter placement, I personally felt this accessory held my iPhone XS too far out of my line of sight to be able to recommend this product to someone looking to keep a device within a reasonable/comfortable field of vision for quick, easy glances. It was certainly near my steering wheel, but it only got in the way and I bumped it a lot when I drove. Placing the adhesive piece that goes on your device near the bottom of my phone made a much bigger difference than I thought as far as the height it was held, but it was still not high enough for my liking - plus it was in the way of my radio and AC controls. The arm seemed to be about 6-8 in. long and has to keep somewhat of a curve due to the product’s shape, but the height of the phone or device you use makes a big difference too, depending on the placement of your power source. You may want to check out some of the other accessory options this brand has. They have other options that may be a better fit for you than this one. Hope this was helpful.
Q: will this work with wireless charging s6
A: No, it will not. I returned mine because of that and because the magnet is not strong enough. It kept falling off when I would go over a bump.
A: The height is 8.84 inches.
A: The blue light is an LED so like the LED light bulbs that give you 60 watts of light but only use 4 watts of power, the power drain is very very minimal. I have a pickup that I drive 3-4 times a week and let the light burn with no issue. If you were going to let the car set a month then I would unplug it.
