The magnet on this one is great but I didn't like the fact that you had to stick the base to your dashboard or to something in the car. There was no good place to stick the mount & be able to see it because it would have had to lay flat on my dash instead of point out toward me. This one did not suite my need. Don't know if the adhesive will damage the dashboard. Taking it back.

I love using this while I have the GPS up! Holds on very well and does not fall on bumps!

I have an iPhone X and perpetually keep a clear Speck case on it. One of the biggest things i like about the iPhone X is being able to just lay it down on wireless charger and it just begins charging. I began looking for a handsfree mount for my car and the Scosche mounts appealed most to me. I reviewed the Scosche handsfree mount WITH wireless charging, but, it was just too involved for my liking and it was visibly thicker than this mount that is basically just a magnet (i wanted something a little more low profile), and I didn't mind using a charging wire in the car while using the wireless charger at home or work. However, I was disappointed to notice that the metal plate that you install on the phone or case gets in the way of wireless charging. I installed the plate on my case and now I can no longer wirelessly charge. Now I have to wrangle the case off everytime I want to wireless charge. I wish someone would've told me this prior to buying. Thank god I didn't install the plate on my phone. I may end up just using a cradle mount for the car since this is going to become a hassle.

I have one in every vehicle I have and on every cell phone I have works great & doesn't move an inch.
