Q: will this interfere with wireless-charging(QI) ?
A: Yes it will if you place the metal plates directly in the center on the back of your phone. However they do come with two plates one rectangle and one smaller circle and I've found that if you use the smaller circle and place it higher up at the top of your phone it will allow you to still use your wireless charging feature.
Q: Does it come with the metal plat that goes to the phone or do you have to buy separately?
A: Yes. One big and one small.
Q: Does this work with MagSafe phone cases?
A: Absolutely is really good
Q: Does this work for an iPhone XR, and later models, like the XS and XS Max? Does it hold?
A: It holds very well strong magnet
A: bought a new cell phone and placed the magnet from my old phone between the phone the otter box outer rubber/plastic case and it works great. Had my doubts, but works fine right now.
A: You can use most automotive adhesives. The manufacturer also makes replacement sticky pads.
Q: Can this be used with an iPad Air 1 and 2?
A: Yes, the package contains two different sizes for devices mobile/ipads.
