Yes it will if you place the metal plates directly in the center on the back of your phone. However they do come with two plates one rectangle and one smaller circle and I've found that if you use the smaller circle and place it higher up at the top of your phone it will allow you to still use your wireless charging feature.

Yes, as the metal plate must go on the back of the phone, blocking the charging signal. If the plate is at the very bottom (not ideal for mounting) it will still charge, but of the plate is in the middle, back of the phone it won't charge.
