The product works and is solid. However, the price was steep considering the amount of other options available. Once I upgrade my phone I will consider this brand this brand again.

I used this product to hold my cell phone in my car. I love the easy install and how my iphone 8 goes on and off. Very good product. A must buy for your car to hold you cell phone.

I bought this looking for something to hold my phone in the truck. It never fails to be down in the floor board or in the back seat somewhere. With this mount I never have to worry!

....Just not as well as it could. With such exciting buzzwords like "universal" and "magic," you probably, much like myself, was under the impression this would make your phone practically inseparable from the mount, even during extreme and extraordinary circumstances....say, hitting a speed bump at 10mph. While the magnet seemed to hold though my thin plastic bumper case, it tumbled off my dash. HOWEVER, if my phone is naked, the magnetic cohesion is almost Herculean. It can almost fly straight to the mount if I let go. Also, be EXTREMELY careful when applying the magnet to the phone...some kind of Mythological Giga-Glue makes it a 1 shot deal, so ask someone with steady hands to apply it for you, otherwise a slight exhale will blow the paper-thin magnet from your fingertips all the way to Kingdom Come. The mount itself is great, no complaints. All in all, even with all the headaches resulting in trial/error, 2nd chances, etc, I still find these Scosche's to be a much better than any mechanical dash mount, by a mile. I can't help but admire the commercial wisdom and pragmatic foresight and this company has, in selling stand-alone magnets; they expect you'll likely fail in some way, and furnish a sensible solution.

This holds my phone securely, and mounts securely, but not to my dash. It would not stick to the bumpy surface, so I had to mount it to my windshield. I wish it had a longer arm

Had to return due to issues with it not sticking to my dash. The sticker holding the plate had come off in the packaging and dried up before opening. Best buy returned with no issues though!

I have had many mobile device car mounts in the past that ALWAYS break, this unit is very affordable and is built to last! I even bought 2 more for my family members.

love the idea of this, and probably would buy again. magnet is very strong, however the circular adjustment feels loose even on its tightest setting

Needed a magic mount for my phone in the car. I looked online, but when I was in the Best Buy store I saw this one. Just what I needed and I had it right away. It's perfect!
