A: DENTAL FLOSS: Pull off a LONG length from the dispenser (about 24-30 inches). Fold in half, then half again, Pry up a corner of the disc from the back of your phone - hopefully you can do this with your fore-finger and thumb while at the same time, hold the folded string of dental floss and slide is between the disc and the phone when you get the disc pried up a tad bit. Slide the dental floss underneath starting at the top of bottom of the disc to the other end while at the same time, pulling straight up with the floss and edging the disc up, off the phone. When I did this, I got half way down the disc and it just "popped" up and off the phone. All I had to do was take some eyeglass cleaner to the phone to wipe away any of the dental floss wax and all was clean and NO SCRATCHES/DAMAGE to the phone. An I think I can still use the disc again as the sticky part seems to still be in pretty good shape - just remember to stick it to a piece of waxed paper in the event you want to use it on something else - no guarantee but you can always try.
Q: What do I have to attach to my phone for this to work?
A: In the package you'll find the mount which you'll have to find the best or most convenient part on your car for it. The 2 black square/rectangular parts come with a sticky part and that's what you'll attach to your phone. If you have a phone that is large or have a bulky case use the big rectangular part. I have an iPhone 6 and I used the smallest square pc and it works like a champ.
Q: Where can I find extra magnetic plates for this?
A: You can go to a hobby store like Michaels and buy magic plates with adhesive backing.
Q: My phone case holds my debit cards will the magnet mess up the strips if i use rhis
A: I’d strongly recommend keeping this magnet away from your cards. I am no expert but I’d guess that with the strength of the magnet, you’d risk damaging the cards.
Q: Could I use this to mount a GPS?
A: Yes, it can be used to mount a GPS.
A: Yes and no. Be sure to look at the manual for the S7. It shows where the wireless charging coil is located, and where the internal antenna is inside the phone. I attached the metal plate between those two areas on my Mophie case. On the other hand.... The back of my Samsung Galaxy phone is all metal and requires no plate. So perhaps both the charger and the antenna are not affected by the metal plate anyway. Regardless, the placement method I used works for me. I attached the bottom edge of the plate up about 1" from the bottom of the case, on the outside. The plate will work if it is inside of your case also - the magnet is strong enough. Before I attached it permanently I tried it inside the case without actually sticking it to anything. That allowed me to try different placement.
A: Yes it would work fine for that. Very strong magnet.
Q: Will the adhesive damage the plastic trim?
A: undefined
