After positioning it and letting it stay for a day, I placed my phone on it and the phone slid off the magnet, even after trying it multiple times

It never stuck correctly it was installed by the guy who installed my camera system at Best Buy who swore by the thing my phone spent more time on the floor than on the mount I would give it less stars if I could but not an option!

I bought it during a cross country road trip and used it with my iphone. The newer iphones are heaver and weren't steadily supported by this.

The phone was secure on the magnet holder but the base never stuck to the car, no matter what I tried. We did experience extreme heat but that should not have been an issue.
