Once you find the right spot, it charges just fine. The pictures never show you that you still have to plug in the charger via usb either into the lighter adapter provided, or into usb port in car. Magnets work well, and yes you have to "peel" it off the holder because the magnets are strong. I don't have a problem with that. Using this style on vertical vents seem to slide down a bit at times with the weight of phone (I have Samsung Galaxy 8). Overall product works as advertised, once you find the right spot. Just don't get the magnets too close to the center while charging or it will overheat and stop charging. I've been using the regular magnetic mounts from this brand before I got this, they worked great, so I decided to give this a try. I would definitely recommend those and just plug the charging cable in.

I had a previous magic mount that I loved. I had to get a new phone and replaced the mount with a charging one. Website said it was compatible with note 9. The self adhesive metal pieces didnt stick to silicone cover. Used other mount supplied, but due to the finger scanner on the phone it doesn't line up with charger. In order to get the charger to work the phone has to be slid down to the point it almost always falls ofg

My only real complaint for this product is how just okay the vent mount is for it. It just doesn't stay put, making it very unreliable to hold your phone. The magnetic attachment to the phone is great and it charges reliably. Just the vent mount is not so great. I ended up "macgyver-ing" a fix for this and now it works great.

The magnets need to be stronger to accommodate thicker phone cases. I had to affix magnets directly to my phone and take my case off, it will not hold when I have the case on. I have the UAG case on a S9 plus phone.

The magnet for the S9 doesnt seem strong enough and the phone slides around, causing it to light up to say its charging on and off. Annoying at night.

Haven't really used it as often as I anticipated. Had to use the very tight attachment to keep it from slipping.

Mount works as advertised. I put the magnets on my case. They don't interfere with the wireless charging.

Scosche has been my go to brand for mounts since I got my first car. Exceptional build quality and creative mounting options for every car. This wireless charging mount works so well. Never had any issues and it never gets too hot even in the harsh summers here in Arizona. It’s reliable and convenient.

It's ok. Doesn't work with some phone cases especially those without a rough surface. Phone tends to slide off and fall into the floor.

This unit charges all my Samsung phones, which are Samsung S6 edge, Samsung Note9, and the Samsung S10plus. Litterly you have to be an idiot not to buy this unit. This unit charges my Samsung S10plus at 'fast charge' while running split screen: You Tube, driving app, fb messenger, and 'text now' app.

If you have any wireless chargeable phone, this is the only mount you should consider if you live in the south. Holds the phone perfectly in any angle and allows you to keep the phone from heating up when using the ac. Plan to get another for my other car so I don’t have to move from one to another. Worth the price for sure.

I wish the magnet was stronger. Get a good grippy case and it won't fall off.

I like that this combines two of the solutions I'm looking for in my car currently. In application, I wasn't impressed as much. It's bulky due to the built in charging tech. I like having less of an eye-sore while driving. The charging works if you don't have a case on and I always do (plus I'd need to now attach a metal plate to the direct back of my phone.....I'll pass on that.)

The magnets just were not strong enough to hold iPhone XS Max. Also I didn’t want to stick things on my phone

I feel like it was a little expensive for what it was. The clip isn't the greatest. It comes with 2 different sets of magnets. The smaller set didn't work at all. The bigger magnet works well but makes the phone to bulky to put it on my wireless charging pad. If you are in your car a lot than it would be great. Otherwise there are cheaper options that would work just fine.

Overall good product, the prongs give out pretty quick with the weight of the phone.
