A: With the magnet on the inside of the Otterbox, it is not strong enough to hold the case on the mount when you hit any kind of bump in the road.

OK, not great
Once you find the right spot, it charges just fine. The pictures never show you that you still have to plug in the charger via usb either into the lighter adapter provided, or into usb port in car. Magnets work well, and yes you have to "peel" it off the holder because the magnets are strong. I don't have a problem with that. Using this style on vertical vents seem to slide down a bit at times with the weight of phone (I have Samsung Galaxy 8). Overall product works as advertised, once you find the right spot. Just don't get the magnets too close to the center while charging or it will overheat and stop charging. I've been using the regular magnetic mounts from this brand before I got this, they worked great, so I decided to give this a try. I would definitely recommend those and just plug the charging cable in.

Not good
I had a previous magic mount that I loved. I had to get a new phone and replaced the mount with a charging one. Website said it was compatible with note 9. The self adhesive metal pieces didnt stick to silicone cover. Used other mount supplied, but due to the finger scanner on the phone it doesn't line up with charger. In order to get the charger to work the phone has to be slid down to the point it almost always falls ofg

Quality Iphone X Car Charger (mostly)
My only real complaint for this product is how just okay the vent mount is for it. It just doesn't stay put, making it very unreliable to hold your phone. The magnetic attachment to the phone is great and it charges reliably. Just the vent mount is not so great. I ended up "macgyver-ing" a fix for this and now it works great.
