Customers value the ease of use and performance of this MoCA 2.5 Network Adapter, frequently citing its plug-and-play setup and reliable functionality. Many appreciate its ability to extend Ethernet connections over existing coaxial cables, simplifying network expansion. While some find the product expensive, the positive feedback on ease of installation and strong performance outweighs this concern for most users.

Amazing! How do more people not know about these magical devices? Use existing coax runs (most homes have cable runs) to wire your devices and as a result speed up your WiFi. Don’t wait. It has everything you need in this kit.

Great little kit for extending home network !

Prior to introducing the Actiontec ECB6250 kit into my home network, I was getting only a little over half the download speed from the main family computer on the other side of the house from where our main wireless router was, even though we had a wireless extender on that side of the house and the computer was connected to the extender via Ethernet cable. Post-introduction of the Actiontec into the picture, which allowed me to reconfigure the extender as an access point, I'm now getting the same download speeds as if the computer was directly wired into our main wireless router. Installation can be a little tricky, but as long as you use the same active coaxial connections from the wall into your TV (the included splitters allow you to use the same coaxial connections for both your TV and the ECB6250), it works just fine.

Moved to a house without RJ45 drop in every room. However, all the rooms have coaxial cable drop. So, by using this product, we are able to have secured wired network connection. The product is a bit pricey, but is easy to use.

    FIXED MY TERRIBLE APARTMENT WIFI!

Absolutely ZERO issues with this set. At the time of writing, I am nearly 1 month into using them. I live in an apartment and the WiFi sucks due to all the other apartments and their WiFi. We have YouTube TV and want to stream it on our Apple TV so we hooked this up, 1 in the living room where the coax wall jack is and the other in the bedroom where the coax wall jack is and have this plugged into a gigabit switch so we can hard wire the Apple TV, a Nintendo Switch and our computer. Great buy! I'm going to get 2 more and hook it up in the other bedrooms!

I didn't really know if these would work, but they work great. AT&T Fiber doesn't use coax jacks which left them open for these babies to connect ethernet from the modem to the office which is on the opposite side of the house.

What a marvelous device! My Internet speed surged when these items were used in conjunction with my co-axial cable. It prevented drilling into walls and running another Ethernet cable. Highly recommended.

I bought these so I could upgrade my FIOS service past 100mbps, which requires an Ethernet connection to their equipment, while still being able to use the coax wiring in my house. These work perfectly! They've run for over two weeks now without any interruptions, and speed tests show well over my 200mbps-rated service. I also like how they came with all the cables and splitters you need. That way you should be able to hook it up, while preserving your existing cable TV if you want, without needing to buy any extra parts.

They work flawlessly and were super easy to set up. Plug and play. Worth the money simply to not have to run ethernet through my house. But I do see that they've gone up on price again

Easy to set up. If you have brighthouse, and if you have a modem and a router from them, then connect rj45 from router to MoCA adapter and put a MoCA filter on the modem and connect coax from modem to MoCA adapter. Also put a MoCA filter on the coax where it comes into your house before it splits. Then put MoCA filters wherever you want where you'll connect PC etc. No problem. If you need to split the coax before the MoCA adapter use the splitters that come with these. These splitters are MoCA rated. Very important to use MoCA rated splitters and filters.

Installing these MOCA adapters took all of 5 minutes, and they have been working fine ever since. There's nothing to configure on the boxes: connect them to Ethernet and coax cables in their respective locations, replace any coax splitters in the path with the included ones, plug in their power supplies and you're done! The only additional thing that you may need is an inline point-of-entry MOCA filter where your coax enters the premises for best results, which is not included (available for $10-15).

These Rock! Only ding is that they are pricey, but if there is old coaxial (cable TV) wiring in your house, they set up a wired LAN and link up with each other flawlessly-- I have 4 going now, and speed is great, with only midrange WOW cable option for my area. Supposedly can have up to 16, but I can't imagine that in a residential setting. -- 58 y/o guy into computers since HP made a 100-step programmable in the 1970's....

I have 500/500 from Frontier using the RJ45 connection from my ONT to my router and then the Moca in one port to my house LAN and use the other moca at the other side of my house and getting the same speed. If you don’t have the house wire for network but has already COAX on each room, this is better than fighting with the WI-FI bandwidth. So far no issues with this adapter!

These are awesome if you live in an older house that you dont have traditional cat5\6 network runs. Utilizing the existing coax to add switches, computers or wifi works great. You can use a bigger coax moca approved splitter to add all your rooms. This device literally saved my life after moving from a house where I ran all the network to an existing older house. The coax is not all RG6 and it still works great.

Been using these for nearly a year now to get ethernet to my upstairs office that only had a cox line to it. Wasn't expecting much when I got them, but have been very happy with them. Zero issues in the year I have been using them. Much better option than tearing up my drywall to run ethernet cables!

Assuming your house coax is wired correctly, these make a great alternative to wifi extenders. Depending on your ISP, you might need to re-enable MOCA in the router once a day (Thanks for nothing, Cox) - but these plug and play boxes do exactly what they say do (5x the speed in the room furthest from the modem).

I purchased it to get better WiFi from the 1st floor to the second floor. The item did work as intended. I was able to get 100 mbps. However I ended up returning it for a different set up that was 4x expensive. It did the job done though with it hard wired to my PlayStation.

My computer is in the far corner of the house and was getting 300 Mbps download speed with wifi (I have gigabit service). Once I set these up, my speeds are a consistent 940 Mbps down which is the speed I get directly connected to the modem. I am beyond impressed! Not sure why Best Buy isn't carrying them anymore.

Was able to hook up in minutes. I am using for my PS5 on opposite side of house from my wireless router. A game that is 90GB download would take 11 hours on Wi-Fi… After installing this and downloading 90GB went from 11 hours download to 9 minutes!!! I can’t praise this item enough!!!
